Alexis Rudd

I grew up playing various sports like soccer, gymnastics, swimming, basketball, throwing shotput, before I picked softball as the one I wanted to pursue the most.

I played my college career at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. I was a designated hitter and also pitched my freshman year. At SIU, I was a part of 2 Regular season championship teams and 2 conference tournament championship teams in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC).

I am currently in graduate school pursuing a M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Illinois State University. I am currently working towards certification to become a Certified Mental Performance Coach (CMPC). While getting my Masters, I was a graduate assistant for the ISU softball team for their 2026 season.

Beyond my playing and coaching experience, I have also focused on athlete development, emphasizing the importance of mental resilience and strategic thinking in competitive sports. I believe that cultivating a strong mindset is just as essential as physical training, as it empowers athletes to overcome challenges and perform at their best under pressure. My approach includes tailored mental conditioning techniques and workshops that equip clients with the tools to enhance their focus, confidence, and overall performance in their sport.
